R2R accounting specialist

As an RTR Specialist Accounting, you play a vital role within the finance organization. You are responsible for ensuring the reliability of financial data in their ERP system, accurate monthly closings, and implementing accounting standards. Your work ensures their financial reporting is compliant, timely, and accurate, contributing to the overall success of the organization. In this role you will continiously improve processes within the accounting process to help the organisation run smooth.

Main responsibilities:

• Performing monthly and yearly closings in line with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Ensuring accurate journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Optimizing accounting processes and templates within Business Central, act as a key user and implement quality and control within the processes.
• Collaborating with controllers, terminal finance teams, and other stakeholders.
• Supporting internal and external audit processes.

• At least a Bachelor's degree in finance;
• At least 5 years of relevant hands on experience in accounting or finance operations;
• Experience within a Shared Service center and the logistics industry is a plus;
• Experience with Dutch GAAP & IFRS;
• Fluent in English, Dutch is a big plus;
