For an international company in the manufacturing and logistics solutions industry, we are looking for a Group Financial Controller to join the team in the south of Gelderland. The company is part of a global industrial group and plays a leading role in cargo control systems across Europe. With operations in multiple countries and a strong growth trajectory, the organization is scaling up its financial operations to match its international ambitions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the financial backbone of several entities and help drive the professionalization of the finance function.

Wat ga je doen?
As Group Financial Controller, you’ll ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Dutch GAAP. You’ll work closely with FP&A, audit, and senior management, and play a key role in improving processes, delivering insights, and supporting audits. You’ll lead the accounting team and contribute to the further development of a robust and future-ready finance organization.
- Manage the financial administration and consolidation of all group entities
- Ensure compliance with Dutch GAAP and internal financial policies
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Oversee cash flow, forecasting, transfer pricing, and foreign currency management
- Coordinate external audits and ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve financial processes
- Support strategic analysis, product launches, and investment decisions
- Lead, coach, and expand the accounting team
- Report directly to the CFO and collaborate with international stakeholders
Wat neem je mee?
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics; RA/CPA is a plus
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role within an international setting
- Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and experience with consolidation
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven leadership experience and ability to grow a team
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
- Comfortable with a hybrid work model (3 days in office)
