What are you going to do?
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with Dutch GAAP and local regulations.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, balance sheet files, and statutory accounts.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports and tax filings (VAT, corporate income tax, etc.).
- Monitor intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Process payroll and personnel-related costs in the administration.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with auditors and stakeholders, while providing functional guidance to local finance teams.
What will you bring along?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent (SPD/AA is an advantage).
- At least 8–10 years of experience in Finance, including several years in a senior role.
- Experience with multiple entities and complex reporting environments.
- Solid knowledge of Dutch GAAP and international accounting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Netsuite) and strong Excel skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Analytical, structured, and strong communication skills.
