Office Manager
Has been working at Fuuse since March 2022
Background
Fresh out of my studies at Business School Notenboom in Maastricht, I started working at one of the nicest hotels in Amsterdam, De L'Europe. After five enjoyable years and various roles, I left the hospitality industry. I became a Financial Office Manager at 24i, a media company for TV apps. At my next employer, The Office Operators, I became an all-round Office Manager. Then Fuuse came along, an entrepreneurial club with enormous growth potential. I was happy to get started here!
What do you enjoy most about working at Fuuse?
As an Office Manager, I have a very diverse range of tasks. I like variation, so that's very pleasant. I also really like the freedom I have in planning my work. In addition, we're a small team, so I can really make an impact. My ideas are heard, so that something is actually done with them.
What was your most beautiful moment at Fuuse?
We are in a people business. This means that our recruiters often have lunch outside with candidates or clients. Or they are just busy and quickly eat a sandwich in between. Sometimes they even forget to eat. That is why we try to have lunch together every Friday, which is my most beautiful moment.
What were you doing 5 years ago?
Back then, I was working as a Financial Office Manager at a media company. The best part about that job was the developers who worked there. I came from the hospitality industry, and it was very exciting to learn how to speak the language of developers.
What do you see yourself doing in five years?
I will still be living in Amsterdam, and I will still be going to work with just as much pleasure as I am now.
What do you do when you are not working?
In the future, I plan to explore more of the cultural experiences that Amsterdam has to offer. Specifically, I enjoy dining at local restaurants and visiting pubs. Additionally, I enjoy ice skating during the winter months at the Jaap Eden ice rink.
